 EZ set-up, great sound and zero interference July 31, 2010

I purchased this portable speaker to combine with a Myine Electronics IR001 WiFi Internet Radio Adaptor (allows wireless access to over 11,000 global radio stations). This speaker setup is very easy. Simply match the speaker and transmitter to the same frequency setting (1,2 or 3). Take the audio out from your av system and put in the audio in jacks in the speaker transmitter (red and white audio cables) and you are ready to go. I literally had this set up in 5 minutes. The speaker can run on ac or dc (8 D cell batteries).
Some reviewers have complained about poor reception with this speaker. I have not had this experience. I live in a suburban area and have outstanding clarity throughout the house, through walls, floors and on my deck. I have not checked the clarity beyond 75 feet however as I will never need it beyond that distance. Therefore, I can't vouch for the manufacture claim of 150 foot clarity.
The sound quality is much better than I expected. Is it as good as a high end wired speaker system? No! However, that is really not a fair comparison. This speaker is designed for portability, and good sound. It has a strong bass and does not have too much treble which would result in a tinny sound. I personally, believe this speaker provides an excellent balance between sound quality and portability. I give this speaker a 5 star rating without hesitation.

Stage it
A very effective design let's this indoor/outdoor speaker function in different locations with ease. I use it mainly with a satellite radio base station, but it is multifunctional with other media. I owned one before, the transmitter went out after 7 years of operation (speaker was still functioning).

I purchased this product in 2005 and have since used it every day in my shower. It is a great product, and although I only run it on battery power, it lasts for months and puts out a lot of sound! I would highly recommend this sleek and quality item to anyone looking for such a speaker.

My daughter wanted this for Christmas. She said it took less than a minute to install and that it works fine. When we were over her house recently, she showed us how it works. The sound was clean. I will get one for us this summer.
